PRIMARY SCHOOL VICE PRINCIPAL - DUBAI - AUGUST 2025 A prestigious school in Dubai is hiring for the next academic year. Competitive salary and package will be discussed with shortlisted candidates. General Purpose Working alongside the Primary School Principal, the Vice Principal shares the following responsibilities as delegated by the Primary School Principal and/or School Director. Performance Responsibilities

  1. Ensure a strong focus on student learning, attainment and progress.
  2. As part of a leadership team, oversee learning programs in the Primary School and help implement the school-wide strategic improvement plan.
  3. Ensure consistency and alignment of curriculum while using a detailed knowledge of the latest research in pedagogy, assessment and reporting.
  4. Foster rich collaborative relationships with students, staff, and parents.
  5. Be responsible for timetables in Primary School.
  6. Be responsible for the management of Teaching Assistants in the Primary School.
  7. Collaboratively plan professional development programs.
  8. Effectively communicate with various stakeholders.
  9. Practice positive student behaviour management procedures in line with the school behaviour policy.
  10. Implement the utilization of systems to collect and analyze student data.
  11. Use technology for efficient and effective administrative practices.
  12. Supervise and support field trips, professional learning activities, assemblies, parent/teacher conferences, and other procedural matters or special events.
  13. Work collaboratively to build strong, supportive, solution-oriented teams.
  14. Work collaboratively with other divisions to best serve our PK-12 students.
  15. Help to supervise and evaluate staff while providing constructive feedback on teaching and learning.
  16. Assist in recruitment of faculty and staff.
  17. Assist with the ordering of resources.
  18. Assist with the facility and operations of the Primary School.
  19. Deputise for the Principal in the case of absence.
  20. Communicate the school’s vision compellingly and support strategic leadership.
  21. Hold all staff to account for their professional conduct and practice.
  22. The Vice Principal will be required to safeguard and promote the welfare of children and young people, follow school policies, and the staff code of conduct.
  23. Perform other duties as assigned by the Principal or Director.

Required Experience and Qualifications
  1. Teaching qualifications and prior experience as a Primary teacher (5+ years).
  2. Current/recent successful experience as a Primary School leader.
  3. High level of professional proficiency in written and oral English with strong and concise communications skills.
