We're looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join our Kier Places team based in Neath Port Talbot Hospital . Location : Neath Port Talbot Hospital What will you be responsible for? As a Maintenance Engineer , you'll be working within the Kier Places team, supporting them in ensuring Kier deliver a safe, customer focused, cost effective, efficient, and compliant service in order to meet its contractual and legal obligations. Your day to day will include:
- Various PPM tasks including, but not limited to, tap testing, flushing & fixing, legionella tests, pump/compressor fault diagnosis, assessing plant equipment, fire alarm, emergency lighting, fuses, desk management, HVAC, AHU's & compressors maintenance, and other general maintenance works within your abilities such as minor fabric, electric, plumbing & heating repairs.
- Electrical activities from minor lighting and power installation works, re-lamping of fittings to general repair, socket replacement
- Carrying out electrical tests such as annual emergency light testing, DB and RCD checks, testing and certification of all works in accordance with NICEIC regulations.
- You have fault finding and reactive repairs experience, being able to conduct first line response of M&E equipment, ranging from AHUs, air conditioning, pumps, pressurisation units, generators, fire alarm, security, and access control systems
- You are either Electrically biased or Mechanically biased but Multi Skilled is desirable
- You have the ability to conduct a variety of building & facilities maintenance tasks, including, but not limited to, electrics & lighting, water & plumbing, HVAC, AHUs & compressors.
