Senior project engineer

We are seeking a skilled Project Engineer to join our decommissioning and deconstruction business on a FIFO (Fly-In Fly-Out) basis, operating on a 2:1 roster in the Northern Territory. This role is pivotal in managing and executing projects within the demolition and decommissioning sector, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations while delivering high-quality results. Key Responsibilities: Project Management: Oversee project schedules, resources, and deliverables to ensure timely completion and adherence to quality standards. Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate with various stakeholders to drive project success. Compliance: Ensure all activities comply with safety, quality, and environmental standards. Technical Support: Provide technical guidance and support to the project team. Reporting: Prepare and present detailed project reports and documentation. Progress Monitoring: Track project progress and implement corrective actions as necessary. Key Requirements: Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, or related field). Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a similar role within the construction or mining industry, with a proven track record of managing complex projects. Skills: Strong understanding of project management principles, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work effectively in a team, high attention to detail, and problem-solving capabilities. Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in project management software and tools. Essential Qualifications: Driver's License: Valid driver's license. Medical Clearance: Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug screening. Roster Commitment: Willingness to work on a FIFO 2/1 roster.
