Role Overview We are seeking a skilled and passionate Cook to join our team at Aveo. The Opportunity We have a permanent part-time position available working every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 10am-6pm. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality lunch and dinner meals for our residents in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Responsibilities: Assist in the daily kitchen preparation of lunch and dinner meals following set menus Follow OH&S procedures and kitchen cleaning procedures Daily monitoring of food safety plans and following all Food Services procedures Requirements: Knowledge and/or experience in catering/kitchen/hospitality settings Food Safety Certificate or Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (desirable) Two COVID-19 Vaccinations (required) A friendly and warm persona with a passion for food and chatting with residents About Us Aveo is a leader in retirement living with 30 years of experience.
