Since then, we have been working with EDF ( French Electricity Producer ). We are involved in several nuclear projects, including FA3 EPR (France), the French fleet, Taishan EPR (China), Hinkley Point C and Sizewell C. We are now looking for engineers to join our Team in the UK. Our human-sized structure (100 employees worldwide) allows us to devote to mentoring and training our engineers . THE ROLE As a Coordination Engineer, you will be in charge of the following activities, depending on the service or project requirements as well as the service competencies and experience: You will ensure the Configuration management:
- Covering the Design Change Management by piloting and coordinating the technical aspects of the Configuration (design changes, open points, referential) between the different internal and external stakeholders ensuring a consistent and optimised (challenges the technical impacts) design for the Project.
- Ensuring the resolution of various cross-functional technical issues by coordinating multidisciplinary stakeholders.
- Participating where necessary in coordination meetings organised by the various parties involved in the project (modification committee, project decision meeting, etc.).
- Presenting and sharing progress, including KPI production, data analysis to support management and decision-making.
- Carrying out internal quality control: checking the consistency of the engineering deliverables.
- Taking part in the management of experience feedback from previous projects.
- Reporting to the team manager on activity progress.
- Relevant experience in the nuclear industry (safety, electrical, mechanical, systems, civil, layout).
- Experience working on an EPR project, operating plant or on an industrial site.
- Experience in one or several engineering disciplines (safety, electrical, mechanical, systems, etc.)
- Previous experience and knowledge of configuration management processes & tools.
- Great ability to learn, to prioritise, manage numerous tasks.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, proactive, influencing skills, ability to work in a team as well as on own initiative.
- Ability to multi-task, logical thinking, results-focused.
- Ability to effectively manage own and team’s workload in order to meet commitments and deadlines.
- French-speaking would be an advantage.
