HR Business Partner - global media and advertising firm8000 headcount organisationAbout Our ClientCompany Information:Industry: Advertising and technology.Global Presence: Circa. 10,000 employees globally; 800 in APAC; 200 across Sydney, Melbourne, and New Zealand.Structure: HR team structured by country.Job DescriptionKey Responsibilities of the Role:Act as a business partner to leaders in ANZ, providing guidance and coaching.Collaborate with global teams on foundational HR initiatives (e.g., merit cycles, engagement surveys).Update and integrate local policies and benefits to align with global standards.Manage employee relations, including investigations and conflict resolution.Provide strategic and operational support to drive HR transformation initiatives.Key Challenges:Engaging a dynamic, young workforce (average age 25-33) in a fast-paced, tech-focused culture.Addressing cultural shifts following the integration of 32 acquisitions over four years.Supporting leaders in navigating limited budgets and conservative spending due to underperformance over the past two years.The Successful ApplicantExperience:Proven track record in both small and large organisations to navigate cultural and structural complexities.Background in fast-paced industries such as tech or advertising is highly desirable.Skills and Traits:High emotional intelligence (EQ).Self-starter with strong initiative and autonomy.Ability to balance strategic input with operational execution.Adaptability to a dynamic, creative, and innovative work environment.What's on OfferSalary: $150k - $165k base with a hybrid working model (3 days in office, 2 remote).
