ABOUT THE ROLE Fabrum is looking for a Senior or hands-on Team Lead to join their engineering team, acting as the guide for more junior electrical engineers and contractors. This role would be suitable for a Senior who is interested in a leadership track, or an experienced Senior / Lead who already has experience mentoring or leading a small team. The role will play a key part in delivering hydrogen refueling stations and cryogenic liquefiers, as well as driving our development of best practice systems and processes, helping to lead the team. You will have the opportunity to:
- Develop cutting-edge solutions for world-leading projects, including large projects like hydrogen refueling stations as well as cryogenic liquefiers.
- Help develop best practice systems and processes, and drive a continuous improvement culture.
- Provide technical expertise, guidance, and troubleshooting support to resolve complex engineering problems.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and regulations throughout the design, manufacturing, and commissioning processes.
- Mentor and guide other engineers, fostering their professional growth and contributing to a collaborative team environment.
- Bachelor of Engineering degree (Electrical/Mechatronics).
- Leadership experience or aptitude.
- Proven experience in designing control systems for process control.
- Some experience with safety in design processes (HAZID, HAZOP).
- Competent in producing control system documentation such as functional descriptions.
- Siemens control systems, Ignition SCADA systems, and remote IIoT systems.
- Experience with functional safety (TUV functional safety certification).
- Commissioning experience.
