Job Description: Senior Security Personnel

Location: Ota, Ogun State

Salary Range: ₦150,000 - ₦200,000 per month.

Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Senior Security Personnel to oversee and manage the security operations within our corporate setting in Ota, Ogun State. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of security experience, preferably in a corporate environment. This role will involve ensuring the safety and security of our employees, assets, and premises, as well as leading the security team in providing a secure working environment.

Key Responsibilities: Lead, supervise, and mentor a team of security personnel, ensuring the proper implementation of security protocols and procedures.

Conduct regular training and performance assessments for the security team to enhance their skills and effectiveness.

Provide direction and ensure that all security staff are aware of their daily duties and expectations.

Oversee the protection of the company’s premises, assets, and employees, ensuring effective monitoring and surveillance.

Conduct routine security checks, inspections, and audits of security systems and equipment.

Respond to and manage any security incidents, accidents, or emergencies, coordinating with law enforcement or other authorities when necessary.

Investigate and report on security breaches, ensuring that preventive measures are put in place to avoid recurrence.

Conduct regular security assessments to identify potential threats, vulnerabilities, and risks.

Prepare and implement security plans to mitigate risks and improve the overall security posture of the organization.

Ensure the proper operation of all security systems, such as surveillance cameras, alarm systems, and access control systems.

Recommend and coordinate upgrades or repairs to security equipment when necessary.

Qualifications & Requirements: Minimum of 10 years of experience in security management within the corporate sector, with at least 5 years in a supervisory or senior role.

Strong knowledge of security operations, risk management, and emergency response procedures.

Ability to lead and motivate a team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality security services.

Proven experience in handling security incidents and liaising with law enforcement.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively.

Familiarity with security technology and equipment.

Relevant certifications or training in security management.

Must reside within Ota.
