You will configure, deploy, and maintain infrastructure operations of our critical CI/CD and lifecycle platforms such as GitHub, CloudBees, Jenkins, Artifactory, UCD, SonarQube, etc., which are serving thousands of engineering and management colleagues within the company. You will work with a team of highly skilled and engaged colleagues in multiple locations, bring new automation ideas to life, and find ways how we can continuously bring more resiliency, scalability, and security into our services. Ready to embark on the journey? Here’s what we are looking for: As a DevOps Engineer, having experience with application or infrastructure support is a huge plus. Also, experience automating and configuring various architectures is essential. Experience with modern hybrid cloud deployments and architectures is beneficial, as well as experience with automating security or stability configurations. You have a can-do attitude, an open mindset, and you are able to work independently, prioritize, and organize your tasks. Working in a multinational environment, you can expect cross-region collaboration with teams around the globe, thus being advanced in spoken and written English will be certainly useful. Here’s what you should be expecting:
- Tool Management: Oversee upgrades, provide support, and contribute to the further development of our suite of tools.
- Automation: Develop and implement strategies to automate our platform, making it more efficient for DHL developers.
- Scripting and Task Automation: Utilize Bash, Shell, Powershell, and Groovy for consumption scripts and task automation.
- Infrastructure Management: Manage our Cloud-based infrastructure on Azure, ensuring its stability and efficiency including on-call support.
- Proven experience as a DevSecOps Engineer or similar role in application/system administration (software development experience is beneficial)
- Beneficial proficient knowledge of scripting languages - Bash, Shell, Powershell, Groovy
- Experience with cloud services , specifically Azure, and understanding of the concepts of infrastructure/networking
- Familiarity with tools such as GitHub, GitHub Actions, GitHub Copilot , Cloudbees, SonarQube, Urban Code Deploy, Zabbix (or similar monitoring tool), Artifactory, and related technologies is beneficial (Git, Maven, npm)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills, ability to work in a team environment, and a commitment to continuous improvement
