Responsibilities:

• Establish Bill of Materials (BOMs) for modules based on engineering drawings and technical data sheets.
• Create and maintain material master data and manufacturing part numbers within SAP.
• Assist in the management of configuration change to update existing BOMs by including new functionality and implementing design changes.
• Update BOM syntax based on order configurator updates.
• Update material classes to enable new variants and refactoring of BOM structures to enable different manufacturing operation modes.
• Analyze data with the use of SAP & Excel reports.
• Communication with the design team (German, Hungary & French counter-partners) concerning design changes and processes.
• Collaborate as project team member on product data management topics; provide support and participate in manufacturing and operation excellence projects.
• Establish Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for any changes in process/procedures within the department.

Your Profile:

• Degree in Mechanical or Electrical engineering field with excellent results.
• Profound knowledge and working experience with complex nested BOMs data structures in SAP and MS office toolset skills.
• Previous experience and understanding of PDM & change management.
• Ability to understand and interpret 2D/3D engineering and electrical drawings.
• Ability to think in logical chains and implement conditional constructs.
• A team player that demonstrates good interpersonal and communication skills in English coupled with high analytical capabilities.
• Ability to interact with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
• Work independently and possess a structured, hands-on approach towards work.
• High sense of responsibility, ownership and commitment specifically towards projects.
