Procurement cum Costing Executive

This position is responsible for sourcing and localizing automotive components to reduce costs and enhance supply chain efficiency. The role involves supplier evaluation, cost analysis, and collaboration with engineering teams to ensure quality and compatibility, driving cost-effective procurement and supporting production requirements. What you’ll be doing:

• To promote localization through nomination of local suppliers with cost merit.
• To analyze cost of structure and benchmarking within industries to ensure competitiveness of part prices.
• To perform price negotiation with suppliers to ensure price competitiveness and achieve the project/yearly cost reduction target.
• To conduct periodical price reviews (forex and commodity) on a timely basis.
• To manage suppliers and perform risk management study and countermeasures accordingly.
• Bridging the communication between brand principle and suppliers to obtain necessary information between each other's.

• Possess a recognized Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or and/or Business Studies.
• Minimum 1-3 years working experience in automotive industry (E.g. Buyer, Costing, Engineering, Manufacturing, Sourcing).
• Knowledgeable in relevant auto parts manufacturing background, general knowledge in automotive industry, knowledge of local auto part supplier , localization.
• Able to write, read and speak in Mandarin is advantageous.
• Negotiation skills, self-control of emotions, leadership skills.
