About the Role As a Lead Engineer at Infaque, you'll be guiding a talented team that builds and maintains our flagship product, Infaque. In this hands-on role, you'll be diving deep into the technical side of things. You'll work closely with the team to design, develop, and maintain our platform. This means making sure the architecture is top-notch, the code is clean and efficient, and that we're always looking for ways to improve performance and reliability. A big part of your job will be leading the development team. You'll provide guidance, mentorship, and support to help them grow and succeed. You'll also be responsible for setting technical priorities, planning sprints, and ensuring the team meets their goals. Finally, this role plays a key part in the success of Infaque and our mission. By building and improving our platform, you'll be empowering nonprofits to make a real difference in the world. Responsibilities- Lead and mentor a team of developers, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, scalable, and secure software solutions
- Ensure the technical excellence of our products, including code quality, architecture, and performance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, design, and QA
- Stay up-to-date on the latest technologies and industry best practices
- Minimum 5 years of experience required in all related fields
- Experience with serverless architectures (e.g., Firebase)
- Proficiency with both SQL and NoSQL databases
- Experience leading and mentoring a team of at least three developers
- Solid understanding of security best practices and experience with monitoring and observability tools to ensure application stability and timely resolution of issues
- Experience with setting up monitoring and alerting for production environments
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong leadership and communication abilities
- Proven track record of delivering complex projects on time
- Experience with technologies like Firebase, Material UI, or Tailwind
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform
- Contributions to open-source projects or a strong personal portfolio
- Experience working in an Agile environment
