BDO Talent Management are partnering with an Irish owned independent WEALTH MANAGEMENT firm located in D.6. They are looking for a FINANCIAL ACCOUNTANT. HYBRID 3 days in the office 2 days WFH. Competitive Salary, Bonus and excellent Benefits including Pension & Health.Key Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with accounting standards.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, perform variance analysis, and provide actionable insights to management.
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations, including those related to financial and tax reporting.
- Streamline accounting processes and improve financial controls.
- Manage and reconcile investment portfolios and transactions to ensure accurate reporting and performance tracking.
- Coordinate with external auditors during audits and provide necessary documentation and explanations for financial practices.
- Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting, providing support to various departments in financial planning.
- Implement and maintain robust financial systems and databases, ensuring data integrity and security.
- Prepare tax returns and ensure timely submission, including estimated quarterly tax payments.
- Monitor cash flow, manage bank accounts and transactions, and optimize financial operations for efficiency and cost control.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field. ACCA, CPA or equivalent certification is required.
- 2-3 years PQA accounting experience, preferably in a wealth management or financial services environment.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and other financial regulations and practices.
- Proficient in financial software systems SAGE products and advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong attention to detail with an ability to work independently.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present financial information clearly.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with strict deadlines.
