MystartupCo is a fast-growing financial services company based in the US, offering a comprehensive range of services, including bookkeeping, M&A, tax, investment, business management, and consulting. Our teams in the US and India work together to deliver exceptional financial and accounting support, primarily serving US clients. Position Summary: We are looking for someone to lead MyStartUpCo’s growth by sourcing, evaluating, and acquiring finance, accounting, and tax businesses in the US. This role also involves playing a key part in post-merger integration and leading Commercial Diligence projects for our clients. Key Responsibilities: Identify and source M&A opportunities for GlobalCFO through M&A advisory channels and proprietary searches. Lead Commercial Diligence processes by conducting in-depth analysis of target businesses, including evaluation of their customers, teams, pricing strategies, go-to-market approaches, and financial health. Drive and support financial modeling and deal structuring to ensure sound investment decisions. Prepare and present detailed communication materials (memos and presentations) to inform the leadership team and the Board on recommended investment decisions. Manage additional responsibilities, including responding to investor data requests, preparing performance dashboards for internal analysis and communication, and managing cross-functional collaboration. Requirements : Tier I/II graduate degree with a specialization in Finance; CA/MBA preferred. 1-5 years of experience in management consulting, M&A investment banking, or investment teams within small VC/PE firms. Relevant experience in corporate finance and corporate development teams will also be considered. Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive, can-do attitude.
