Engineering Assistant / Senior Engineering Assistant (Failure Analysis Lab) Job Description: Location: Ang Mo Kio Working hours: 830am - 530pm (Monday to Friday) Responsibilities: Perform Failure Analysis of Devices. Assist in Lab activities and Lab Administration. Lead component level FA analysis in the Lab. Work closely with Production and manage the FA process in a streamlined manner. Lead FA process improvement initiatives. Responsible for final consolidation of FA reports. Arrange FA process review with engineers and Plant. Support Engineers for all lab-related activities (soldering rework, harness fabrication, proto build). Work closely with engineers for equipment procurement, installations, and commissioning. Work with plant facilities to setup/maintain lab facilities. Support lab audits (IATF16949, ESD). Participate in cost and quality initiatives. Job Requirements: Diploma in Electrical/Electronics/Mechatronics. Fresh graduates are welcome. Independent and able to work under minimum supervision. Capable of performing X-ray/C-Sam on semiconductor devices. Capable of performing grinding and decap on semiconductor devices. Ability to develop good working relationships with colleagues and vendors. Good organizing skills, proficient in Microsoft Excel/Word/PPT. Familiar with typical test equipment such as power supply, oscilloscope, datalogger, etc. Experience in soldering/rework/proto build is an advantage.
