Job Responsibilities

1. On a daily basis responsible for interacting with the customer to ensure:
2. Responsible for interacting with customers in gathering stock status and ensuring share of shelf
3. Thorough positive interaction and responsiveness to ensure customer satisfaction
4. Checks validity of municipal approvals for promotions
5. Work towards achieving the short term monthly goals
6. Provides leave coverage when required
7. Gathers and analyzes easily available stock data to ensure that merchandising principles such as First in First Out are adhered to
8. Gathers and analyzes competitor price trends, new product introduction and recommends change/price to next level management
9. Analyzes stock movement trends to provide reports on non-moving and slow moving stocks
10. When required mentors new merchandiser
11. Identifies merchandising process improvement opportunities and provides information to next level in order to facilitate change or improvement
