Partner with the best The Field Service Specialist - Pressure Control provides direction and assistance to work group in order to meet assigned objectives. In this role you will work within defined parameters to make decisions, apply concepts to issues of moderate complexity, and resolve issues through immediate action or short-term planning. As a Field Service Specialist – Pressure Control, you will be responsible for:
- Performing on-site installation of systems and equipment and ongoing preventive maintenance, repair and calibration after installation
- Responding to requests for emergency repairs and services to troublesome equipment
- Providing technical instruction and assistance to customer representatives regarding installation, operation, calibration, repair, and maintenance at customer's sites, developing and further expand technical knowledge and expertise, currently recognized industry standards for engineering ability
- Maintaining knowledge of applicable product line warranties, and accomplish effective warranty administration
- Planning, preparing and/or instructing both internal and external training programs as required, to impart and perpetuate field engineering and/or product knowledge in area of specialization
- Providing leadership and technical direction to skilled labor performing work on customer sites
- Maintaining strong safety mindset to assure the executed work reflects the technical requirements within BH safety standards
- Preparing timely and accurate technical reports for customer records and a reference for future outages
- Have a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or Diploma for a certified college.
- Have at least 5 years’ experience in wellhead and Xmas tree installation & 5 years of experience in Offshore Services providing innovative, adaptive technical solutions and support to customers in Oil & Gas industry
- Have minimum of 5 years of experience in Oil and Gas Industry
- Have minimum of 2 years of experience in mudline system
- Have Wellhead maintenance, Repairing of valves experience for Surface wellhead equipment
- Have the ability to inspect equipment prior to it going offshore & Work closely with workshop teams to meet loadout deadlines
- Have the ability to understand Technical drawings & Use of company e-tools to retrieve technical documents when required
- Have experience in Installing and maintaining Surface Wellheads and X/Tree's (Offshore): HPHT (High Pressure High Temperature); Metal to Metal, Quick Lock Connectors
- Have experience in Replacing Valve Seats & Gates (On location) , Carry out Wellhead Upgrades as per engineering Project Related Procedures (PRPs) / Field Service Manual (FSM) Able to fault diagnose
- Have experience to perform field repair of valve actuator(s)
- Have experience to Use Hydraulic tools – pumps , running tools , bolting tools etc
- Have ability to work effectively with minimum supervision Train & lead New hires & self Competency focused
- Working Hours: As per field requirement on call basis
