New role with an Event client in Qatar Responsibilities

  1. Conducts site visits and prepares study document to ensure feasibility of concept in the specific venue
  2. Knowledge of production and build of scenic as well as AV requirements
  3. Manages onsite set up, build, and break down of events; oversees all aspects of the venue, on-site vendors, and production staff
  4. Being main point of contact for suppliers and managing them during mobilization, set up and dismantling
  5. Oversees all administrative tasks pertaining to assigned events: schedules and attends design meetings, vendor meetings, etc.
  6. Building event budget
  7. Works closely with design and project team to ensure tangible design and décor while ensuring this vision fits within budget, venue and production timeline
  8. Creates and updates all production-related documents including design notes, site visit notes, floor plans, production schedule, call list, transportation schedule, inventory requests, staffing plan and schedule and all other printed or build materials used in production
  9. Designing technical plans or knowing sketch-up is a plus
Requirements:
  1. Strong organization, communication and project/time management skills
  2. Knowledge of business and management principles involved in planning, resource allocation, production methods, and coordination of people and resources
  3. Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and prioritize multiple projects
  4. Self-motivated and results oriented
  5. Strong attention to detail
  6. Possesses high work motivation, commitment, follow through, initiative and achievement
  7. Ability to travel for regional work
