Position Overview The Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and executing effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets, expand market share, and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in the cigarette division and a deep understanding of the FMCG landscape in Qatar. Key Responsibilities

  • Sales Strategy: Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives and revenue targets in the cigarette division.
  • Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and collective goals.
  • Market Analysis: Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and key accounts to ensure product availability and brand visibility.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze sales performance, providing regular reports and actionable insights to senior management.
  • Budget Management: Prepare and manage the sales budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources for maximum ROI.
  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and company policies, particularly concerning the cigarette industry.
  • New Business Development: Identify and pursue opportunities for expanding product penetration and market reach.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Experience:
  • Minimum of 7-10 years in sales within the FMCG industry, with at least 3-5 years in the cigarette division.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Industry Knowledge:
  • In-depth understanding of the cigarette industry, including market dynamics, distribution channels, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Leadership: Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a high-performing team.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze complex data and translate it into actionable strategies.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with proficiency in English. Arabic language skills are an advantage.
  • Technology Proficiency: Familiarity with CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Personal Attributes: Self-driven, results-oriented, and adaptable to a fast-paced environment.
