Job Summary The HR Manager/Business Partner (HRBP) will play a pivotal role in driving the people strategy in Qatar, with a strong emphasis on Talent Acquisition (TA). This role will partner closely with business leaders to attract top talent, align HR strategies with business objectives, and ensure seamless execution of recruitment processes. As a secondary responsibility, the HRBP will support TA efforts across the APME region, ensuring consistency and efficiency in talent acquisition practices. Main Duties and Responsibilities Strategic Business Leadership

  • Act as an HR business partner to the Senior Management Team through participation in establishing business plans to achieve business goals and visions.
  • Shape and implement HR strategies and goals in line with business objectives.
  • Participate in change management initiatives of the business.
  • Develop/ promote employer brand & best practices.
  • Develop/ Support career development plans and talent management in the organization.
  • Develop & maintain best practice HR policies/procedures relating to personnel policies, recruitment & selection, compensation, salary administration and employee benefits in line with gategroup policies.
  • Manage and drive HR KPIs in line with business needs and strategies.
  • Identify & recommend HR systems, tools and reports to increase the effectiveness of HR to support the business.
  • Establish and maintain personnel cost budgets based on business plan needs.
HR Expertise & People Management
  • Work with line managers on people management matters providing advice and guidance that aligns with local legislation, best practice and culture.
  • Maintain in depth knowledge of legal requirements related to HR, reducing legal risk and ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Establish and run employee engagement activities.
  • Devise & implement strategies to attract, develop & retain good & talented people.
HR Administration & Payroll
  • Responsible for all aspects of HR administration for the employee population.
  • Responsible for managing HR data using our People system (ERP System) and develop manager and employee self-service.
  • Manage the HR part of the payroll process working closely with Finance and our outsourced payroll provider.
  • Manage the company insurance and benefits schemes including registration, updates and reviews.
  • Implement a robust e-filing system for employee files in Middle East.
  • Document management; including filing, e-storage, archiving and disposal of confidential material.
  • Responsible for ensuring employment contracts and offer letters are accurate and prepared on time.
  • Co-ordinate with external tax consultants, government departments, and auditors, as required.
  • Ensure HR KPI reports are regularly reported both to local head and regional HQ.
Recruitment & Onboarding
  • Partners with local managers in Middle East and regional business leaders in Asia Pacific on their recruitment needs.
  • Ensure the (prevalent) recruitment system is used to enable an efficient process.
  • Develop the recruitment process to ensure we provide a fabulous candidate experience.
  • Manage the new starter process ensuring each new colleague has a welcoming induction, thorough. onboarding plan and regular reviews with feedback to ensure they are set up for success.
  • Maintain contact with internationally recruited employees to ensure they are supported through the assignment process through offer, work permits, relocation, shipping, settling with family, repatriation.
Team Player - fulfil other duties as required.
  • Pick up new activities that fall broadly in the purpose of the role.
  • Role model the behaviours and develop the culture.
  • Develop & support a high performing HR team.
Core Competencies and Requirements Education
  • Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
Work Experience
  • More than 8 years of full spectrum HR experiences within an industry with highly regulated workforce.
  • Broad experience with labor laws and regulations across Middle East.
  • Strong Talent Acquisition experience in Asia Pacific and Middle East.
  • Ability to build effective relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, plus the ability to communicate with a wide range of people across a variety of corporate and national cultures.
Technical / Language Skills
  • Proficiency in HRIS platforms, preferably Workday.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Fluency in English required, other languages an asset.
