This is a leadership role that requires managing all financial activities, including budgeting and cost control. The successful candidate will be responsible for maximizing revenue opportunities while ensuring the team is committed to delivering clear goals.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage all financial activity, including budgeting and cost control.
  • Maximize revenue opportunities.
  • Develop a high-performing team committed to delivering clear goals.
  • Supervise team members, including hours worked, new hiring, and resignation.
  • Select, interview, train, onboard, and develop team members.
  • Monitor and verify Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Protect the health, safety, and well-being of guests and colleagues.
  • Collaborate with the marketing department to grow social media presence and compete in the local market.
  • Improve customer experience and service through feedback from review sites.

Operations:

  • Responsibilities:
  • Monitor staff schedules to program shifts and control wages.
  • Maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Schedule weekly marketing meetings to enhance online presence and monitor local competitors.
  • Analyze trends and adapt to the local market.
  • Schedule weekly manager meetings to foster a proactive environment.
  • Ensure Restaurant Managers follow opening and closing procedures.
  • Enforce uniform and grooming standards among staff.
  • Review manager shifts and ensure daily handovers/briefings are conducted.
  • Coordinate restaurant operations during each shift.
  • Ensure completion of cleaning schedules with checklists for each department.

Overview and Strategy:

  • Key Objectives:
  • Assist in training employees for maximum efficiency and performance.
  • Implement a specific appraisal system to refine team performance.
  • Collaborate with HR to design development plans for employees.
  • Follow the Manager's roadmap.
  • Participate in the recruitment process.
  • Provide constant feedback through one-to-one chats.
  • Ensure completion of essential training for new starters with management supervision.

Managing Sales and Conversion:

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver sales targets in line with the designated budget.
  • Utilize the system effectively to monitor sales.
  • Maximize covers and conversion rates.
  • Align costs with revenue without compromising brand standards.
  • Supervise closing and reporting procedures effectively.
  • Create and control annual budgeting and update monthly forecasts with the Area Manager.
  • Manage KPIs and track inventory management.
  • Apply basic accounting principles to ensure correct food and beverage margins.
  • Control costs while maintaining standards and guest satisfaction.

Customer Service:

  • Key Objectives:
  • Establish standards and procedures for staff performance.
  • Interact with guests to ensure prompt handling of inquiries.
  • Foster a culture of actively seeking guest feedback.
  • Ensure efficient service flow following the Sequence of Service.
