Responsibilities:

  1. Developing and maintaining relationships with key clients.
  2. Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities with key clients.
  3. Developing and implementing customized solutions to meet client transportation and logistics requirements.
  4. Meeting sales targets and contributing to the overall growth and profitability of the company.
  5. Conducting regular business reviews with key clients to ensure customer satisfaction and identify areas for improvement.
  6. Collaborating with other departments within the company to ensure seamless service delivery to key clients.
  7. Managing client contracts and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  8. Providing regular sales reports to management.
  9. Other analytical tasks as required to support the Sales and accounts department.
Documentation:
  1. Filing and maintaining insurance data for customers for the accounts department.
  2. Maintaining and updating contracts and contract expiration dates in coordination with the accounts department.
  3. Preparing quotations and updating quote status on a regular basis.
  4. Updating tracking reports on a regular basis.
  5. Effectively corresponding with customers as required.
Reporting:
  1. Ensures accurate compilation and reporting of operational and financial information about the customers.
  2. Prepares sales plans and reports.
Desired Candidate Profile: Education, Experience, Technical Skills Qualifications:
  1. 1 year experience in Customer Service-related capacity / A Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, or a related field is required.
  2. A Master's degree in Business or Sales is preferred.
  3. 5-7 years of experience in a sales or account management role, with a focus on transportation and logistics, is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
  1. Experience in managing key accounts in the transportation and logistics industry is preferred.
Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:
  1. Intermediate computer skills.
  2. Proficient with MS Office Applications.
  3. English (reading, writing, verbal) with business writing proficiency.
  4. Personal ownership and commitment to results.
  5. Strong attention to detail accuracy and accomplish job tasks in a timely manner.
  6. Time management and organizing skills.
  7. Ability to perform duties with minimal supervision or guidance.
  8. Ability to develop and sustain good working relationships and networking.
  9. Ability to work independently and quickly to meet aggressive deadlines.
  10. Ability to communicate effectively with large groups and in a multicultural environment.
  11. Ability to multi-task.
  12. Must be able to effectively adapt to change and thrive in a stimulating, fast-paced work environment.
