Responsibilities:
- Developing and maintaining relationships with key clients.
- Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities with key clients.
- Developing and implementing customized solutions to meet client transportation and logistics requirements.
- Meeting sales targets and contributing to the overall growth and profitability of the company.
- Conducting regular business reviews with key clients to ensure customer satisfaction and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborating with other departments within the company to ensure seamless service delivery to key clients.
- Managing client contracts and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Providing regular sales reports to management.
- Other analytical tasks as required to support the Sales and accounts department.
- Filing and maintaining insurance data for customers for the accounts department.
- Maintaining and updating contracts and contract expiration dates in coordination with the accounts department.
- Preparing quotations and updating quote status on a regular basis.
- Updating tracking reports on a regular basis.
- Effectively corresponding with customers as required.
- Ensures accurate compilation and reporting of operational and financial information about the customers.
- Prepares sales plans and reports.
- 1 year experience in Customer Service-related capacity / A Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, or a related field is required.
- A Master's degree in Business or Sales is preferred.
- 5-7 years of experience in a sales or account management role, with a focus on transportation and logistics, is preferred.
- Experience in managing key accounts in the transportation and logistics industry is preferred.
- Intermediate computer skills.
- Proficient with MS Office Applications.
- English (reading, writing, verbal) with business writing proficiency.
- Personal ownership and commitment to results.
- Strong attention to detail accuracy and accomplish job tasks in a timely manner.
- Time management and organizing skills.
- Ability to perform duties with minimal supervision or guidance.
- Ability to develop and sustain good working relationships and networking.
- Ability to work independently and quickly to meet aggressive deadlines.
- Ability to communicate effectively with large groups and in a multicultural environment.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Must be able to effectively adapt to change and thrive in a stimulating, fast-paced work environment.
