Planning Engineer

Position: Planning Engineer Location: Bahrain Sector: Construction & Infrastructure About the client Our client is a leading industrial conglomerate in the Middle East, specializing in construction, engineering, and industrial services. It has a strong reputation for delivering high-quality projects and innovative solutions, contributing significantly to the region’s infrastructure development. Responsibilities

• Planning, scheduling, and monitoring of construction activities to enable the desired completion of projects.
• To work with various project disciplines to ensure understanding of total project schedule needs.
• Updating, modifying, and distributing backlog, etc., of activities in overall programs based on the resources available, preparing EOT if required or entitled.
• To supervise project schedule analysis and studies of problem areas to determine the criticality of schedule activities.
• To interface with project site management and client counterparts for specific planning and scheduling tasks.
• To provide comments and recommendations for planning, scheduling, and resource requirements relative to staffing and project control.
• Preparation of fortnightly/monthly project and progress reports.
• Compilation of data received from all sites on a daily/weekly/fortnightly basis, as required, into forms ready for final analysis by the top management.
• Maintain standards of safety and comply with the Company’s Health, Safety, and Environment Management System requirements.

• 5-10 years of experience in construction and infrastructure; bridges and buildings.
• Preferably based in Bahrain or Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia.
• Proficient in Primavera, MS project Application and MS Spreadsheet.
• Completion of University Degree, preferably in Civil Engineering.
