Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated Pulmonology Specialist with a subspecialty in Sleep Therapy to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and treating a variety of respiratory and sleep disorders while delivering exceptional patient care. This role offers an opportunity to work in a collaborative environment, utilizing advanced medical technologies and contributing to innovative treatment approaches. Job Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and manage patients with respiratory and sleep-related disorders, including sleep apnea, insomnia, and narcolepsy.
- Conduct sleep studies and interpret results to develop personalized treatment plans.
- Prescribe and manage CPAP, BiPAP, and other therapeutic devices for sleep therapy.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including respiratory therapists and sleep technologists, to ensure optimal patient care.
- Educate patients and their families about sleep hygiene, lifestyle modifications, and treatment options.
- Maintain up-to-date medical records and ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards.
- Participate in ongoing medical education, research, and quality improvement initiatives.
- In-depth knowledge of pulmonology and sleep medicine principles, practices, and technologies.
- Proficiency in interpreting sleep study data and pulmonary function tests.
- Strong diagnostic and clinical decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with patients, families, and colleagues.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to patient-centered care and continuous professional development.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Pulmonology Specialist, with at least 2 years focusing on sleep therapy.
- Proven track record of managing complex respiratory and sleep disorders.
- Experience with advanced sleep diagnostic tools and therapeutic devices is preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in medicine from a recognized institution.
- Board certification in Pulmonology, with additional certification or fellowship training in Sleep Medicine.
- Active medical license in the country of practice.
