Job Description Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Health & Safety Inspector to join our team!
What You'll Be Doing
- Assists the project or program manager with administering the SH&E programs.
- Inspects worksites to detect hazards; provides expertise to project personnel to eliminate/control the SH&E risks associated with exposure to the hazards.
- Creates and submits written inspection reports.
- Monitors project or program work planning and performance; verifies planning and work performance conforms to Parsons’ Environmental, Safety, Health, and Risk Program (ESHARP) management system.
- Implements Parsons’ occupational injury and incident reporting and management processes.
- Assists the project or program manager with new hire orientation.
- Performs regulatory and best practice SH&E training.
- Creates and maintains SH&E training records.
- Participates in routine safety work briefings.
- Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
What Required Skills You'll Bring
- Diploma or Bachelors in related field (or equivalent experience).
- Related work experience in the field of Health and Safety is preferred.
- Requires familiarity with Federal and state health and safety regulations and reporting procedures, SHARP Management, Parsons Construction Safety & Health Manual as well as good communication and interpersonal skills.
