Company Description HAIDA GREEN ENGINEERING CONSULTANTS is a respected MEP Engineering & Design firm in Dubai, UAE. Specializing in Sustainability, HVAC, Fire Fighting, Electrical, Plumbing, and other MEP services, HGEC is dedicated to delivering high-quality engineering solutions. Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for an Electrical Engineer - Design and Supervision at HAIDA GREEN ENGINEERING CONSULTANTS in Dubai. The role involves overseeing electrical design projects, supervising electrical systems ensuring compliance with regulations, and power distribution, and power systems on various projects. Key Responsibilities

Electrical Design:
- Develop and prepare detailed electrical system designs and drawings, adhering to DEWA standards and regulations.
- Perform load calculations, voltage drop analysis, short-circuit calculations, and cable sizing.
- Design and specify electrical systems for buildings, including lighting, power distribution, fire alarms, and ELV systems.
- Ensure designs comply with international codes (e.g., IEC, BS, NEC) and local regulations.
Coordination and Approvals:
- Prepare and submit designs, drawings, and load schedules for DEWA approvals.
- Coordinate with DEWA for design review, modifications, and final approvals.
- Handle all necessary documentation for DEWA NOCs and other related permits.
Supervision:
- Oversee electrical works at project sites to ensure compliance with DEWA standards and approved designs.
- Monitor installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems.
- Conduct inspections and prepare site progress reports for clients and regulatory authorities.
- Identify and rectify non-conformances in installation work.
Stakeholder Coordination:
- Collaborate with clients, consultants, contractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution.
- Provide technical support and advice on electrical design and construction matters.
- Problem-solving and attention to detail.

Qualifications

Strong knowledge of DEWA regulations and approval procedures.
Electrical Design and Electrical Engineering skills.
Expertise in Power Distribution, Power Systems, and renewable energy integration.
Knowledge of Electricity principles.
Experience in designing and supervising electrical systems.
Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
8 years of industry experience.
