A leading acute care hospital located in New York City is now seeking an experienced Healthcare Accounts Receivable Manager to join their award-winning healthcare team. This acute care facility is home to nearly 500 inpatient beds and serves as a prominent hub for medical care services in the surrounding communities. This organization provides a wide range of medical services to the community and is committed to delivering high-quality healthcare, fostering community engagement, and advancing medical knowledge through education and research.  The AVP Finance, the Healthcare Accounts Receivable Manager will manage relationships with external vendors who assist with accounts receivable processes, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and accuracy in billing and collections. Responsibilities include vendor management, leads contract negotiations, assess vendor performance, works closely with vendors to improve collection rates and reduce errors, analyze accounts receivable data, ensures all vendor activities comply with healthcare regulations, trains hospital staff on vendor systems and AR procedures, and prepares regular reports on vendor performance.  What’s Needed to Succeed:

  • Bachelor's level degree in related field
  • Experience utilizing Workday 
  • Healthcare related accounts receivable experience
