We are the leading specialist supplier in our category for the food service industry. We pride ourselves on timely and efficient customer service and we currently supply over 1200 customers throughout Victoria. We operate out of our dedicated warehouse and head office facility conveniently located in South-East Melbourne operating our own fleet of distribution vehicles supported by a specialist sales and customer service team.

Due to an internal staff movement, we currently have an opportunity for a new driver in our business. We operate a fleet of Medium Rigid trucks complete with fridge, freezer and curtain side gated 8 pallet tray with back roller doors. A current and clean MR license is essential to be considered for this role. Candidates with a forklift license = bonus points. This is a full-time permanent role offering consistent hours and a competitive salary.

The successful applicant would be employed on contract and provided training and ongoing support. Starting times are early morning from 5am weekdays with some regional runs commencing earlier. Generally, a driver will make deliveries in the same truck to the same customer locations on the same day on an organised run cycle, creating an easy and consistent work routine and developing a real face to face relationship with our customers. Your daily deliveries are pre picked and pre-loaded.

Ideally, the right person for the job would have experience in similar delivery roles, be positive in nature, a real team player and be able to work autonomously and be trusted and supported as an important face of our business to our customers. Candidates should be able to demonstrate they are organised, reliable, proactive, physically fit, appropriately licensed and have a clean driving record.
