Palace Tower at 108 St Georges Terrace is a true trophy A Grade asset in the Perth CBD that successfully integrates federation style architecture with the contemporary accents of today. Standing at 51-levels of office accommodation, Palace Tower at the time of completion in 1988, was Perth’s tallest tower. It remains a landmark in the heart of the CBD today. The tower is at the forefront of tenant serviceability, providing ground floor food and beverage offerings, recently refurbished building lobby, end-of-trip facilities, wellness studio, and bookable meeting room facilities.What this job involves: The General Manager is responsible for the overall performance of the property and the management team across all disciplines representing Realside Property as our client and owner of the property. Working in close collaboration with and as the senior representative of the client, the General Manager assists in the development of strategies to maximise the performance of the property and is charged with implementing these effectively.This is a broad ranging management role with areas of responsibility including financial, customer experience, operations, WH&S, and sustainability. Considerable focus is required on adding value and improving the customer/ tenant experience, maximising income, ensuring costs are competitive, and minimising risks to the client.Sound like you? This is what we are looking for: At least 8 years’ experience in property/asset management, with previous experience managing A Grade office assets required. Strong leadership skills, with a demonstrated ability to lead a property management team, coupled with superior interpersonal, communication, stakeholder management and negotiation skills. Personality and standing to be an ambassador for the asset representing the client, JLL, tenants, customers and the community. A demonstrated ability to add value to a property asset through identifying value enhancing opportunities, as well as the achievement of sustainability outcomes. An intimate knowledge of the office sector and ideally some exposure to retail property. A high level of financial aptitude, commercial acumen, analytical skills and computer literacy with previous experience preparing complex budgets and comprehensive reports. Tertiary qualifications in Property, Business, Management or related discipline highly desirable, however not essential.
