Responsibilities
- Ensures operational, functional and compliance excellence.
- Supports all ASL compliance and ongoing oversight activities including Quality Agreements, Change Notification Agreements, supplier third-party certifications and Supplier Add, Change Requests (SACRs).
- Creates quality-related contracts and negotiates with suppliers on related quality topics (such as extent of change notification, etc.).
- Analyzes vendor activity to determine future need, and performs vendor delete activities as needed.
- Conducts Supplier Surveys and other associated activities.
- Creates and manages department metrics. Monitors departmental KPIs and reports data at Management Review Meetings.
- Expert in Supplier Selection and Supplier Management Process. Controls the process to add suppliers to ASL and associated systems.
- Provides support during external audits in the region.
- Contributes to problem-solving efforts on selected projects to improve quality.
- Requires periodic interaction in North America and European time zones.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Quality/Engineering or Life Science discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of working experience in Quality Control.
- Demonstrated ability in generating and negotiating quality-related contracts with suppliers.
- Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills.
