Head of Marketing – Non-Profit Organization Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Marketing Planning: - Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with the organization's goals and objectives. - Conduct market research to identify trends, target audiences, and competition in the development sector to determine the effectiveness of styles and strategies. - Create and manage marketing budgets to maximize ROI.
- Brand Management: - Maintain and enhance the organization's brand identity, ensuring consistency in messaging and visual representation.
- Content Creation and Communication: - Produce high-quality content, including articles, reports, social media posts, videos, and press releases, to communicate the organization's mission and impact. - Manage the organization's website and social media presence to engage stakeholders and promote awareness.
- Stakeholder Engagement: - Cultivate relationships with donors, partners, and key stakeholders in the development sector. - Develop and nurture partnerships with other organizations, governments, and international agencies.
- Fundraising and Donor Relations: - Collaborate with fundraising teams to support fundraising campaigns and events. - Maintain strong relationships with donors and communicate the impact of their contributions.
- Team Leadership and Management: - Lead and manage a team of marketing professionals, providing guidance, mentoring, and performance feedback.
- Extensive experience in marketing, preferably in the development sector or nonprofit organizations.
- Strong understanding of development sector issues, including poverty alleviation, healthcare, education, and sustainable development.
- Proven track record in developing and implementing successful marketing strategies.
- Excellent communication, writing, and presentation skills.
