This job is for a Civil Engineer in Malaysia managing multiple projects on-site or remotely. You might like this job because it involves coordinating with project teams, ensuring quality, and liaising with consultants on technical matters.
Responsibilities
- Working with various projects across Malaysia, can be based on or off-site and manage priorities among different projects.
- Cooperate with the project manager / leading engineer's management of PV project design, construction quality and progress, timely and proactively coordinate and communicate with the project management team.
- Carry out dynamic management of engineering technical solutions, schedules, personnel and other issues, guarantee quality based on drawing and design standard, while ensure work tasks complete on time.
- Promptly cooperate with the project team to coordinate and communicate, and complete the task as required in line with project plan.
- To liaise with consultant on technical issues and resolve within period of time.
- Participate in the preparation of bidding and tender documents, technical specifications and technical negotiations, and participate in the review of design plans and construction drawings.
- Timely reporting of task progress and status to the engineer / project leader.
- Responsible for the management of the equipment / assets of the project undertaken, including shop drawings, test reports, delivery plan.
- Responsible for the preservation of the information, quality records, and archives of the projects undertaken.
- Responsible for the publication and archiving of end production of the projects undertaken.
- Responsible for the technical connection between the project and the grid company, and handling of the relevant government construction procedures.
Job Requirements
- Education: Bachelor degree or above, major in civil engineering, construction and related fields.
- Language: Verbal and written proficiency in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin.
- Skill: Civil/Building Services Design & Calculation per local standard, Estimation, Documentation, Supervision, Project Coordination and Management, AutoCad. Literate in MS office and other documentation tools.
- Working in solar-related projects will be an advantage.
- Good communication & learning skill, strong team awareness, strong adaptability, ability to work under pressure, deliberate and attentive at work.
