About the Job In this position, you will be providing digital solutions to customers regarding healthcare services. This role involves on-field and remote customer support, solving any technical customer inquiries specifically relating to the software components of medical devices, commonly known as HIS (Healthcare Information Systems). The IT Application Engineer plays a vital role in maintenance of post-sales medical devices and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. Job Responsibilities:

• Provide on-field and remote customer support, solving any issues regarding digital components of medical devices involved.
• Advise on technology solutions-related work, offering guidance and assistance within cross-functional teams.
• Handle project implementation and provide support on commercialization of digital services provided.
• Lead project resources and management, including but not limited to complex migration projects, and consulting with customer regarding the IT infrastructure requirements.
• Remotely assist technology solutions for the software, hardware, and medical devices in handling customer inquiries.
• Contribute to business enhancements by implementing streamlined processes and work methodologies.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Information Technology, Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, or other related fields.
• Minimum of 3 years working experience and 1-2 years of experience in engineering project management. Experience in the medical devices industry or in industrial equipment/automation would be a plus.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and provide direct customer services.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in IT user skills (MS Office, SAP, Intranet, remote maintenance tools, etc.)
• Familiarity with common digital and information systems in clinic/hospital context (e.g. HIS, LIS, PACS, etc.)
• Knowledgeable about communication protocols (HL7, TCP/IP, etc.) and general software architectures (incl. C/S, B/S, embedded real time system)
• Willingness to travel
