- Check all detail construction drawings, ensure work complies with latest construction drawings and specification. Check all dimensions between architectural and structural drawings and ensure all information is complete. Highlight discrepancies, report and discuss such discrepancies with project Engineer, Construction Manager and Project Director.
- Coordinate with the license surveyor and subcontractors in ensuring that all setting out works are in order.
- Coordinate with all subcontractors on the work progress and mitigate issues affecting the work progress.
- Ensure on quality of workmanship that is acceptable according to industry standards and reject works that are generally unacceptable. Comply with CONQUAS & QLASSIC requirement on work quality. Carry out periodical quality inspections and identify defective works. Ensure all defective works are immediately rectified. Cultivate and promote culture with “Do it Right The First Time” approach on work quality.
- Coordinate in the ordering and receiving of materials and comply with all necessary ISO documentation.
- Implement controls to minimize wastages. Carry out daily supervision works and report to Project/Construction Manager.
- Coordinate and organize on the usage of equipment and machinery.
- Carry out systematic recording of work progress by respective subcontractors. Submit Daily Records to Construction Manager for endorsement.
