The Sales Representative will utilize strong interpersonal skills and comprehensive product knowledge to drive sales within assigned territory or customer accounts, representing the organization in promoting and selling the products or services to customers. The Sales Representative is responsible for driving sales within assigned territory or customer accounts by effectively promoting and selling the company's products or services. This involves building and maintaining strong customer relationships, meeting or exceeding sales targets, identifying new market opportunities, and ensuring customer satisfaction through excellent service. The role requires market analysis, order processing, sales collection, and reporting. You will play an important role to:
- Achieve assigned targets in line with sales strategies.
- Educate customers on product features and benefits.
- Build and maintain relationships with customers to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Address customer inquiries promptly and effectively resolve any issues or concerns.
- Assist in market research and stay informed about competitors.
- Secure and support promotional activities (e.g. roadshow, fairs) and product presentations at trade.
- Monitor and ensure timely collections of payment within specified terms.
- Ensure Statement of Account (SOA) is constantly updated with customers.
- Ensure timely submission of claims with complete details and necessary documentation, and follow up closely on deductions by customers.
- Visit outlets to take orders accurately and submit for processing, ensuring on-time delivery.
- Collaborate closely with sales operations and logistics team for efficient distribution.
- Compile sales reports and provide insights of the assigned territory.
- Maintain records of sales activities and customer interactions.
- At least 1 year of experience in Sales & Marketing roles.
- Possess own transport and willing to travel.
- Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Management, Customer Relationship Management, Communications, Business Administration or any other related field. The equivalent of this in working experience is also acceptable for this position.
- Good multitasking and organization skills.
- Good selling, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Basic knowledge in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Good knowledge of General Trade channel, ways of working, and how to impact.
