This position reports to Business Manager - E2E Your role and responsibilities In this role, you will have the opportunity to be responsible for the sales of products/systems/services within a designated market/division, in line with the division strategy. Each day, you will achieve both qualitative and quantitative sales targets to ensure sustainable order growth, revenues, profitability, market share, and customer satisfaction. You will also showcase your expertise by identifying and developing new sales opportunities. The work model for the role is: {onsite/hybrid/remote}. This role is contributing to the Measurement & Analytical Business focusing on level measurement and field instrument devices in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia. You will be mainly accountable for:- Sells ABB instrumentations product range (Level measurement, pressure transmitter, temperature transmitter, flow meters, etc) to customers, focusing on volume, mix, and profitability targets for the assigned divisions.
- Establishes and maintains effective customer relationships to understand their needs, promotes their understanding of ABB's complete product/systems/ services offering, and aligns with them to provide a solution.
- Ensures a positive customer experience throughout the sales process.
- Prepares sales plans using ABB authorized tools.
- Performs regular status reviews and proposes recovery plan(s), in case of any potential order shortfalls.
- Creates added value for the customer and ABB and ensures the successful outcome of transactions, contracts, and proposals, by using effective sales techniques.
- Communicates to the customers about the details related to delivery time, payments, and general terms and conditions, in line with ABB's offering and strategy.
- Ensures efficient marketing activities and communicates value proposition to customers.
- Manages administrative procedures in sales processes and supports cash collection and project management activities, when needed.
- Prepares offers in coordination with the bid and proposal department and/or the Marketing Manager.
- Ensures appropriate technical and financial aspects of offers are in place, including prices and trading conditions.
- Bachelor or master's degree in engineering.
- More than 5 years' experience in instrumentation sales -specializing on level measurement and field instrument devices (pressure, temperature, etc).
- Strong knowledge on technical, targeted customers including end user and EPC.
- Experience in key accounts management and large project pursuit.
- Proven ability to develop and manage customer relationships with key decision makers of existing and potential customers.
- Proven ability to present and advise customers on instrumentations.
- A collaborative, solutions-oriented approach, and strong communication skills. Had experience and involvement in strategic pursuit / framework agreements / new developments.
- Knowledge on the market of instrumentations specifically on Level measurement and field instrument device would be an advantage.
- Channel partner engagement/ management experience would be an advantage.
