Back End Developer

Job Description : As a Backend Developer, you’ll be responsible for building and maintaining RESTful APIs using frameworks like Flask or Django. You’ll design and optimize database queries in PostgreSQL to ensure efficient data management and implement task queues and workflows using Celery. Enhancing backend performance for handling large-scale data and complex queries will also be part of your role. Additionally, you’ll use Redis for caching to improve application response times and assist in seamless data migration from Airtable, ensuring accuracy and consistency. Managing authentication systems and implementing Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) will be key aspects of the job, along with writing comprehensive tests to ensure reliability and robustness. Collaboration with the frontend team will also be essential to achieve seamless API integration. We’re looking for someone proficient in Python with hands-on experience in Flask or Django frameworks. A strong understanding of REST API design and backend development is essential. Experience with PostgreSQL, particularly query optimization, is required. Familiarity with Redis for caching and Celery for workflow automation is a plus, along with basic knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS or Azure. Strong debugging and analytical skills, combined with excellent communication abilities, are vital for effective collaboration with team members.
