Description The Engineer selected for this position will belong to the team which has Global responsibility for the introduction and implementation of ISO 26262 & ISO 21448 in the organization. Job expectations Completed degree in engineering with a focus on Electrical/Electronics/Automotive/mechatronics/Mechanical or comparable experience in the field of vehicle development, preferably in software/HW development for vehicle functions.
- Experience in the field of product safety, e.g. ISO 26262, ISO 21448, for example worked as a project safety manager or safety engineer in the context of development projects.
- Strong knowledge of agile development methods
- Experience with ALM/software management tools
- Experience in complete automotive software development lifecycle
- Experience in coordinating interdisciplinary and international project teams
- Knowledge of development processes, SW development Life cycle and Tool Chain in the Electrical & Electronics development of the vehicle.
- Proficient in German and English
- Reviews of work products of Functional Safety, SOTIF & upcoming Safety standards in terms of an independent review body.
- Implementation/moderation of functional safety assessments and functional safety audits with the various partners in the development projects
- Methodical anchoring of the requirements of ISO 26262, ISO21448 in the development processes
- Creation / maintenance of training documents and implementation of training courses on functional safety & SOTIF at national and international level
- Work together with the functional safety and system engineers to ensure ISO 21448 (SOTIF) standard is implemented
- Creation of tools, templates, processes & methods to carry out Functional safety and SOTIF activities.
- B.Tech/M.Tech in Electrical/Electronics/Mechatronics/Computer Science Engineering
- Between 5 to 8 years of overall experience
- Min 3 years of relevant Expertise in Functional Safety ISO26262 (& SOTIF ISO21448).
