DTP Artist

Responsibilities

1. Collaborate with Creative team members and project owners to understand and interpret briefs effectively.
2. Select and validate colours to ensure visual consistency throughout the design process.
3. Edit and enhance images to align with project requirements and visual standards.
4. Resize design elements according to specifications while maintaining design integrity.
5. Demonstrate strong organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail in design tasks.
6. Undertake any additional ad hoc responsibilities as required, contributing to the flexibility of the role.
7. Manage the pre-press process, including layout composition, proofing, and colour corrections.
8. Perform editing tasks such as artwork modifications and basic graphic designing.
9. Prepare layout artwork specifically tailored for print production.

Requirements

1. Minimum 2 years of experience as a Desktop Artist, demonstrating proficiency in desktop publishing.
2. Extensive experience with Adobe CC software, including Photoshop and Illustrator.
3. Working experience with large format printing would be advantageous.
4. Ability to work in both PC and Mac environments.
5. Fluency in both English and Mandarin (as you will be required to serve Mandarin-speaking clients).
6. Positive and committed team player capable of delivering under high-pressure deadlines.
7. Ability to work independently with a positive attitude toward tasks and challenges.

Selected candidate will be working remotely from Malaysia but will have the opportunity to work at our Malaysia office when it is ready.
