Soliantis is actively seeking a dedicated and skilled Occupational Therapist in the Prestbury, IL area to join our team on a contractual basis for a school-based role. Role Summary: As a Contract Occupational Therapist, you will play a pivotal role in our dynamic therapy team, providing high-quality care to students with diverse needs. Your expertise in occupational therapy will be crucial in assisting clients in achieving their goals and enhancing their quality of life. Position Details:
  • Start/End Dates: 8/1/2024 - 5/28/2025
  • Hours: Full-time (37.5 hours per week)
  • Caseload Size: TBD during interview process
  • Grades: PreK- 12th Grades
  • Location: Multiple Schools
  • Onsite only
Responsibilities:
  • Perform comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' physical, cognitive, and emotional needs.
  • Develop and execute individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings.
  • Deliver client-centered occupational therapy services, focusing on enhancing functional abilities and independence.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic and coordinated care.
  • Maintain accurate and current documentation of client progress, Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and treatment plans.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the overall development of therapeutic strategies.
Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy.
  • Current State licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Proven experience in providing occupational therapy services.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development.
