Diverse Group of Companies - Financial Accountant

An experienced Financial Accountant is required.

Duties & Responsibilities

Core responsibilities:

• Ensure that accounts are audit ready every month.
• Review accounting data capture, creditors recons & payments.
• Individual balance sheet recons & account packs (approximately 30 packs the team prepares).
• Consolidated management accounts preparation.
• Facilitate annual audits & AFS.
• Supplementary financial reporting for shareholders.
• Investment analysis & tracking.
• Monthly statutory return submissions.
• Attend to SARS reviews on VAT and PAYE submissions.
• Facilitate information required for SARS audits on income tax.
• Income tax computations to send to tax practitioners (Company, Trusts, Individual taxation).

Desired Experience & Qualifications

MUST HAVE completed articles. Mature and stable. Analytical with good commercial acumen. Technically minded/process driven. Organised with good time management.

Requirements

5-10 years post articles experience. Advanced Excel – formulas. Some experience with tax.
