Senior Engineer - Water Specialization

Reference: CPT000419-CB-1 We require a Senior Engineer who specializes in Water, in the West Rand area for a Consulting Firm.

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12
• 15 years + relevant experience in engineering, specializing in water
• BSc or BTech or BEng Degree
• Registration with ECSA as a Professional Engineer
• Understanding of GCC, FIDIC, NEC, JBCC

Duties & Responsibilities

• Signing off designs and or drawings as a responsible professional engineer
• Client liaison
• Manage and direct multiple design teams
• Developing Scope of Work for projects
• Collaborate with consultants/specialists in major technical support areas
• Establish design tools, software
• Schedule, coordinate and participate in engineering design reviews
• Participate in staff development
• Ensure that Quality Assurance policies are applied
• Monitoring teams and contractor’s representatives during the construction phase
• Manage the preparation of technical reports, designs, cost estimates, procurement documentation
• Attend site visits/meetings
