Cape Town, South Africa | Posted on 17/10/2024 The Administrative Assistant will play a vital role in supporting the daily operations of our organization. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with excellent organizational and communication skills. The ideal candidate will manage administrative tasks, assist with project coordination, and ensure efficient office operations. Responsibilities:

  • Provide general administrative support to management and staff.
  • Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate travel arrangements.
  • Prepare and distribute internal and external communications, including emails, memos, and reports.
  • Organize and maintain electronic and paper filing systems.
  • Prepare, edit, and proofread documents, presentations, and reports for accuracy and clarity.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of standard operating procedures.
  • Oversee office supplies inventory and order materials as needed.
  • Assist in the onboarding process for new employees.
  • Coordinate office events, meetings, and training sessions.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for visitors and callers, providing professional and courteous assistance.
  • Respond to inquiries and resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Maintain databases and assist in data entry and management tasks.
  • Generate reports and summaries as required.
  • Collaborate with team members on various projects and initiatives.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to strategic planning efforts.

Requirements

Qualifications :
  • Post Matric Certificate or Diploma in a relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Office Management).
Experience :
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in an administrative support role, preferably in a corporate or office environment.
