The Analyst, Private Capital Solutions is responsible for identification, entry and maintenance of entity characteristics of underlying portfolio investments in private capital investment partnerships. Content is compiled directly from fund manager reporting and multiple online resources.
Key Responsibilities
- Detailed review and analysis of private capital partnership financial statements to accurately identify underlying investments.
- Perform research on investments using web-based sources.
- Master the application of the GICS methodologies to profile and classify different types of investments (e.g., companies, real assets).
- Perform research and data entry in accordance with standards of accuracy and productivity.
- Resolution of incorrect entity linkage.
- Mastery of specialized/secondary profiling (duplicates, name changes, stock, GUID changes, etc.).
- DSQ resolution.
- Mentor (work one on one with Junior Researchers).
- Perform proofing/checking.
Qualifications
- All business degrees considered, if proven interest in finance exists.
- Keyboarding experience with records, databases, accounting or other business-related areas that require stringent deadlines, accuracy, and organization.
- Proficiency in writing and speaking in English.
- Detail oriented, research-based mindset.
- Familiarity with researching and identifying different company-based information from reputable proven sources.
