About The Role As the Senior Legal Counsel (Fintech), you will oversee all legal matters related to our fintech initiatives. Your expertise will help navigate the evolving regulatory landscape, ensuring our products and services adhere to all legal and compliance requirements. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to provide legal support and mitigate risk. What You'll Do Contract Review: Review and analyse various contracts, agreements, and legal documents to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies. Contract Template Drafting: Create and update standard contract templates to streamline the contract creation process, ensuring consistency and compliance with legal requirements. Legal Guidance: Provide legal advice and guidance to internal stakeholders on various legal matters, including contractual issues, regulatory compliance, and HR-related concerns in Singapore, Canada and other jurisdictions. Record-Keeping: Establish and maintain a comprehensive system for organizing and archiving all legal documentation, ensuring easy access and compliance with document retention policies. Legal Help-Desk Management: In charge of defining and improving legal ticket intake and processing functions, so that other business departments can get high-quality and efficient service from the in-house legal team. Legal Research: Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations that may impact the company, and provide recommendations to ensure continued compliance. Collaboration: Collaborate closely with other members of the legal department and cross-functional teams to address legal concerns and provide timely solutions. Requirements Juris Doctor (JD) or equivalent legal degree from an accredited institution. Minimum of 5 years of relevant legal experience, preferably in-house or within a law firm. Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical skills. Capacity to work both independently and collaboratively within a team. Exceptional organizational and record-keeping abilities. A commitment to upholding the highest ethical standards and maintaining confidentiality. Fluent English proficiency in both written and verbal communication. We'd Love If You Have: An active license to practice law in Singapore. Strong expertise in HR law in Singapore. Regulatory experience in Major Payment Institution in Singapore and MSB in Canada. Culture & Vision Call (Q&A) (30 minutes): A conversation with the co-founder to discuss Radilink's mission, values, and vision, learn more about your background, and see if there's a mutual fit. Technical/Case Study Call (60 minutes): The call will involve presenting a real-world legal scenario, and evaluating how legal concerns are identified, interests are balanced, actionable legal guidance is provided, and solutions are prioritized.
