Job Description:

  1. Check and reconcile daily data needed for day-to-day operations.
  2. Ensure all expenses are recorded properly and that all transactions are accounted for in business operations.
  3. Accurately record deposits, collections, and remittances related to financial transactions in the ERP.
  4. Perform month-end accounting activities such as reconciliations, journal entries, ledger, and accounting adjustments.
  5. Analyze financial discrepancies and recommend effective resolutions to prevent further errors.
  6. Generate financial reports and statements for management review.
  7. Perform financial analysis and reporting on account movements as needed.
  8. Coordinate with the finance team to complete assigned accounting tasks within deadlines.
  9. Monitor expenditures, analyze revenues, and report budget variances to management.
  10. Assist in budget preparation and expense management activities for assigned accounts.
  11. Assist in auditing activities by providing necessary information and preparing requested documentation related to financial year reporting.
  12. Prepare documents related to VAT filing.
  13. Monitor and record financial transactions according to company policies and regulations.
  14. Review and recommend changes to existing accounting policies and procedures.
  15. Perform coordination with banks, clients, suppliers, and others as needed in relation to finance and accounting functions.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy.
  • Minimum two years of experience as an Accountant.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure. • Take decisive action on opportunities to achieve specific outcomes. • Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills in English. • Solid proficiency with Microsoft Office and accounting software. • Ability to plan, manage, and follow through on assignments and communicate effectively at all levels of the organization. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team with minimal supervision.
