Approval Engineer for Remodeling Projects Location : Dubai/Abu Dhabi, UAE Reporting to : Operation Manager Role Overview : We are seeking an experienced and well-connected Approval Engineer to join our team and play a pivotal role in securing project approvals for interior and exterior fit-outs, remodeling, and construction activities. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in liaising with authorities and developers across Dubai and Abu Dhabi, ensuring timely acquisition of permits and approvals. Key Responsibilities :
- Approval Management :
- Secure necessary permits and approvals for remodeling projects, including interior and exterior fit-outs.
- Liaise with relevant authorities, including Dubai Municipality (DM) , Dubai Development Authority (DDA) , Trakhees , and Abu Dhabi Municipality (ADM) .
- Establish and maintain relationships with developers such as Nakheel , Emaar , Jumeirah Golf Estates (JGE) , Al Barari , and Aldar in Abu Dhabi.
- Ensure compliance with their regulations and procedures for new and existing communities.
- Technical Expertise :
- Utilize AutoCAD to create, modify, and submit technical drawings to the authorities.
- Manage online submission portals for project permits and approvals.
- Regulatory Compliance :
- Stay updated with the latest regulations and requirements for remodeling and construction permits.
- Ensure all project documentation meets authority and developer standards.
- Cross-functional Collaboration :
- Work closely with project teams to provide necessary documentation and ensure approval processes align with project timelines.
- Licenses :
- Holds a valid G+1 and/or G+4 engineering license .
- Registered engineer with Dubai Municipality (DM) and Abu Dhabi Municipality (ADM) .
- Experience :
- Proven track record in securing permits and approvals for remodeling and fit-out projects.
- Past consultancy experience is highly advantageous.
- Technical Skills :
- Proficiency in AutoCAD for creating and submitting drawings.
- Familiarity with authority submission portals in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
- Language Skills :
- Arabic proficiency is highly preferred to facilitate communication with local authorities.
- Soft Skills :
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
