Multilateral Engagement Expert (On Behalf of Client)
We are partnering with UAE Federal Government Entity to help fill the following vacancy: Multilateral Engagement Expert This is a full-time position that will be directly employed by our client, not Whiteshield. Our role is solely to assist in the recruitment process; further details will be provided upon the successful shortlisting of applicants. The Multilateral Engagement Expert is responsible for supporting and advancing the organization's objectives within international platforms. This senior role involves managing materials, reporting to the director, and contributing to the development and implementation of multilateral agreements. Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement strategies for effective engagement in multilateral platforms.
- Manage and contribute to the preparation of materials and reports related to G20, BRICS, COP, OIC, and ACD initiatives.
- Draft, review, and finalize official documents and agreements supporting multilateral efforts.
- Provide expert analysis on multilateral agreement development and implementation processes.
- Monitor and report on the progress and outcomes of multilateral initiatives.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and capacity building within the organization related to multilateral frameworks.
- Represent the organization at key meetings and events, ensuring clear articulation of objectives and positions.
- Over 10 years of experience in dealing with multilateral platforms and the development of agreements.
- Degree in International Law, Public Policy, or a related field, with specialization in international organizations.
- Extensive experience in the GCC region within relevant sectors.
- Full English proficiency.
- Excellent writing skills with experience in drafting official documents and agreements.
- Strong negotiation and diplomacy skills.
- Knowledge of international governance structures and processes.
