Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor who will be responsible for managing and overseeing repairs in our facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintenance and repairs and experience in managing a team. The Maintenance Supervisor will also be responsible for optimizing the facility's functionality, comfort, and efficiency. Main Responsibilities
- Responsible for all maintenance requests
- Prepare weekly maintenance schedules and allocate work accordingly
- Inspect facilities periodically to determine problems and necessary maintenance
- Participate in the coordination of projects (e.g. renovations)
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and health and safety regulations
- Has a solid understanding of spare parts and their supplier
- Work closely with Operations, Automation, and Supply chain teams to enable fast execution of assets/ spare parts procurement decisions
- Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness
- Supervise the projects and all maintenance activities
- Plan and track the preventive maintenance schedule
- Knowledge of machine life and when to replace machinery
- Must have had at least 3 years of experience as a maintenance officer or similar position
- Must be currently residing in Dubai
- Familiar with plumbing concepts
- Focuses on increasing productivity through introducing smart equipment to decrease manual work
- Experience with maintaining electrical concepts such as wiring, cables, breakers, and walk-in chillers
- Solid HVAC, civil, mechanical, and electrical working knowledge
- A knack for negotiation and networking
- Ability to gather and analyze data
- Solid judgment along with decision-making skills
- Strong leadership capabilities
- Leadership and teamwork skills
