Your Purpose: You will be expected to support the Business Process Management team with daily tasks and data analytics. You will be working in an international environment with close contacts with the Mercedes-Benz AG headquarters. A day in the RLC work environment will involve assisting your manager and team members with WIMS daily file checks, performing assigned daily tasks, conducting adhoc data analyses, and creating reports and presentations. Some days you’ll be supporting the rest of the team with meeting deadlines and other adhoc tasks. Your Responsibilities:
  • Perform the required daily tasks for the department
  • Execute daily reporting in Power BI
  • Conduct the daily WIMS file transfer checks
  • Adhoc return shipment processing
  • Assist the BPM team in creating adhoc reports and presentations
  • Attend to special requests regarding reports and analyses of key figures
  • Assist the BPM team in specific administration/documentation processes
Communicative Relationships: General Distributors:
  • Coordination to ensure smooth order management (WIMS) - Daily, Weekly
Central WIMS Team:
  • Coordination in case of any file transfer or related issues - Daily, Weekly
Global Logistics Center, Germersheim:
  • Order cancellations and related queries - Daily, Weekly
Internal RLCME Departments:
  • In case of order cancellations & other communicative processes - Daily

Knowledge/Skill/Experience:
  • Good supply chain knowledge; experience in working with Supply Chain IT systems or databases will be an added advantage.
  • Excellent oral and written communication in English
  • Ability to understand IT system landscapes and associated functionalities quickly
  • Advanced skills in MS Office, preferably in MS Excel & Access, and also in Power BI
  • Able to use analytical skills to solve problems; experience in data analysis is a plus
  • Big picture thinker, go-getter, self-starter
  • Honest, professional, and a strong team player
Qualification:
  • Currently working towards or have recently completed a post-secondary diploma/degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or equivalent experience
